The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) has started with the objective of promoting specialized knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship development, innovation, and creative ideas.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell provides a platform for the budding entrepreneurs to learn about entrepreneurship and enhance their skills and it helps students to share their ideas and grow their ideas into a successful venture.
In view of the worldwide shortage of jobs (both government and private sectors) and lack of proper utilization of human resources; the ED Cell strives to identify talented youth and motivate them to entrepreneurial and innovation work.
To facilitate successful entrepreneurs with high integrities, ethical ideals, and upright governance abilities with their innovative minds to make a comprehensive impact on a global level
Cultivate an established atmosphere where every novel idea of students can be propagated and sustained in a tangible domain with a desire to achieve and dedication to accomplish.
OBJECTIVES
To create an entrepreneurship eco-system in the college, where students would learn the technicalities of entrepreneurship and become job providers instead of job seekers.
To conduct training programmes in the field of Entrepreneurial Skill Development.
The ED Cell of Hindustan College of Arts & Science has been inaugurated by the Director Dr. Susan Marthandan, HCAS on 13th September 2021. Mr. Selvakumar Training Co-Coordinator, EDII-TN joined with us as the Chief Guest.
Awareness on one million Ideas. One day Awareness programme organised by Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Hindustan College of Arts & Science on 10th November 2021.
EDC of HCAS Guided the biotechnology and Microbiology student along with EDII field Coordinator Ms. Hepsiba from Madras University on 16th December 2021. Around 50 students registered in the Tamilnadu Student Innovators Programme.
Nine students from II M.Sc. Biotechnology have registered in the Entrepreneurship Development training programme in the Government of Karnataka.
